The Tethys Geological Society has the honor of inviting you to participate in the activities of the  Second Symposium on the Geological Resources in the Tethys Realm – 19-22 March 20111 – Alexandria University, Egypt. The Organizing Committee kindly requests the distribution of this announcement among your colleagues in your Institution. If you have a chance to attend the meeting and/or excursions and for better arrangement of your visa to enter Egypt, please send your abstract as soon as possible. We are looking forward to see you and your colleagues among us in Egypt.

Abstracts: Abstracts should be submitted before 1st of February 2011, up to 300 words written in two languages, English is one of them. The original of the manuscripts together with the originals of figures, plates, graphs and charts can be submitted before or during the Conference Meeting.

Registration Fees includes: 1- Opening reception. 2- Lunch, coffee and tea. 3- Closing dinner. 4- Publications of the conference. 5- Excursion to Geological and Historical Sites in and around Alexandria (a- Pleistocene Ridges and Evaporites. b- Mediterranean Coastal Lagoons and Sabkhas, c- Nile Black Sands at Rosetta. d- Alexandria "Roman and Greek" Museum, d- Qaitbai Citadel, e-Alamein Museum for one of the biggest battle during the Second World War).
