The theme for the ISRM 2011 Congress is "Harmonising Rock Mechanics and the Environment" to emphasize the critical roles of rock mechanics and rock engineering in sustainable development and environment preservation. In addition to the 4-day technical program, workshops, short courses, technical visits, exhibitions and social programs will be organised.
