Dinópolis Teruel

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you all to the 10th meeting of the European Association of Vertebrate Palaeontologists (EAVP) that will be held in Teruel, Aragón, Spain from June 14 to June 19, 2012. The venues of the meeting will be Congress Hall and Dinópolis, located close to one another on the outskirts of Teruel, Polígono Los Planos, Ctra. Sagunto-Burgos. Teruel (http://www.feria-congresosteruel.com; www.dinopolis.com).

This meeting, as with all the previous EAVP meetings, follows the general objectives of the Association to promote and encourage communication and collaboration as well as to bring together the Vertebrate Palaeontology community of Europe through the organization of such a meeting in a different country every year. Delegates are invited to provide oral and poster presentations that cover all aspects of Vertebrate Palaeontology.

Preliminary Programme

• Tue June 19th: Arrival, registration and free visit to Dinópolis.
• Wed June 20th: Registration, scientific presentations, poster session, board meeting.
• Thu June 21st: Scientific presentations, general assembly, auction.
• Fri June 22nd: Scientific presentations, poster session, conference dinner.
• Sat June 23rd: Field trip to Jurassic-Cretaceous Dinosaur sites (whole day).

Sun June 24th: Field trip to Neogene mammal site (half day).

KEY DATES AND DEADLINES

• Preliminary registration: January-March 2012.
• 2nd Circular and call for conference papers and abstracts:  February 2012.
• Deadline for abstract submission: March 31st 2012.
• 3rd Circular and final conference program: 15th  April 2012.
