42nd PhD Cycle in Chemical, Geological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca - Call for applications
We are looking for highly motivated candidates for the second session of the 42nd PhD Cycle in Chemical, Geological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca (deadline: 22nd July 2026 at 12:00 noon Italian time). The University of Milano-Bicocca offers a stimulating environment in which to study, do research and socialize while learning all together. Four project scholarships are available in this session (2 in Geological Sciences, 2 in Environmental Sciences):
- Structure and properties of sulphur-bearing magmas at extreme conditions with implications for Earth and Solar System evolution (ERC project S-cape)
- Multi-scale multi-observable seismic model of the Central Mediterranean region
- Development of functionalized biochar for the bioremediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated soils and sediments
- Development of a Multidisciplinary Research Lab Platform
