su indicazione del Prof. Rodolfo Carosi (Università di Torino e Presidente SGI), vi inoltriamo con piacere il messaggio della International Commission on Geoheritage della IUGS, con cui si annuncia l'apertura delle iscrizioni allo IUGS Geoheritage Event 2026, che si terrà presso l'Algarvensis Geopark (Portogallo) dal 4 all'8 novembre 2026.
Si tratta di un appuntamento importante per tutta la nostra comunità, a cui vi invitiamo caldamente a partecipare e che vi chiediamo di far girare tra i vostri contatti.

The registration website for the IUGS GEOHERITAGE EVENT is open! You can now register for the event:
Registration / IUGS Geoheritage Event 2026
Each and every one of you—whether you are representatives of your country or an international organization, reviewers, authors, or co-authors of this or any of the previous editions—are an important part of this project, and we would be delighted to have you join us.
I wish you could all be there, but take into account that the number of participants and presentations will be limited to 200 participants and 65 presentations; The Third 100 + the most recent Heritage Stones and Geo-collections will be presented.
Attached you can find a couple of promotional cards. Feel free to distribute them among your contacts.
The IUGS Geoheritage event will be a special and memorable meeting in an unforgettable location. We would love to see you in Portugal in November.
