EGU 2020 - Call for abstracts Session TS3.2 'Exhumed and active magmatic systems: associated deformation and fluid flow'

-

Società Geologica Italiana

Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention and encourage to submit an abstract to the EGU2020 Session:

TS3.2 : "Exhumed and active magmatic systems: associated deformation and fluid flow" co-organized by GMPV9

Conveners: Taija Torvela (University of Leeds, UK), Alberto Ceccato (University of Bologna, Italy), Simone Papa (University of Padua, Italy), Martina Zucchi (University of Bari, Italy)

This session focusses on the interplay between deformation and fluids (either melts or hydrothermal fluids) in plutonic/magmatic/hydrothermal systems, with the aim of understanding the intimate process that link rheology and "fluid" transport in the crust. We aim to gather contributions from many different research fields in the structural, petrological and geophysics communities, but also from non-academic researchers who are interested in these topics from the applied standpoint.

You will find the full description of the session at the following link:
https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2020/session/34942

Deadline for support applications is December 1st, 2019

Deadline for abstract submission is January 15th, 2020 (13:00 CET)

We hope to see you in Vienna,
Best wishes,

Martina, Alberto, Simone, Taija
