Carissimi Soci SGI,
Carissimi Soci Società Associate,

su indicazione della Dott. Riccardo Lanari (Università di Firenze), vi segnaliamo la Call for Abstracts relativa alla sessione TS3.1 "Deformation and faults: from deep to shallow crust and from long term to seismic hazard", organizzata nell'ambito dell'EGU General Assembly 2023.

Cordiali saluti,
La Segreteria

Dear Colleagues,
Please consider submitting an abstract to our EGU session TS3.1- Deformation and faults: from deep to shallow crust and from long term to seismic hazard, which will be held in person and online from 23rd to the 28th April 2023.
This session aims to better define the properties of faults and deformation zones, and to understand how their characteristics change over time. We invite contributions dealing with faulting and deformation processes (normal, reverse, and strike-slip) worldwide, in different geodynamic contexts, from outcrops to mountain ranges, and from the long-term to single seismic events.

Please find further information at the following link 'https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU23/session/46075'
Our invited speaker Prof. Sascha Brune (GFZ Potsdam) will give us his contribution about the long-term fault-network evolution.
The abstract submission deadline is on 10th January 2023; in order to apply for ECS travel support/fee waiver, please submit your abstract by the 1st December 2022.

I hope to see you soon,
Ciao
Riccardo (and co-conveners)
