su indicazione della segreteria di Direzione dell'Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei vi informiamo il 19-20 novembre 2025, a partire dalle ore 14:00, presso l'Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei (Palazzo Corsini, Via della Lungara 10, Roma), si terrà il convegno Geosciences Nextgen: Earth Telescope.
The scientific community stands at a pivotal moment in the understanding of our planet. As technological advancements push the boundaries of observation and analysis, the time has come to adopt a new, integrated vision of the Earth system. The conference Geosciences NextGen: Earth Telescope brings together leading researchers, emerging scholars, and interdisciplinary thinkers to explore the latest discoveries and future challenges in geosciences.
This meeting will serve as a dynamic platform to examine the composition, evolution, and dynamics of the Earth, from its inner structure to surface processes that shape our continents and oceans.
Moreover, in an era marked by rapid change, the conference addresses the urgent need to assess natural hazards and sustainable resource management. From seismic to volcanic risks, we will explore how geoscience can inform policy and resilience strategies for societies facing an uncertain future.
