su indicazione del Prof. Dejan Prelević (University of Belgrade), vi segnaliamo che dal 16 al 20 settembre 2026 si svolgerà in Serbia la 17th EGU Émile Argand Conference on Alpine Geological Studies.

L'incontro avrà luogo sui monti della Fruška Gora, presso lo Spa Resort & Hotel Fruške Terme, situato nella località termale di Vrdnik.

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are pleased to inform you that the conference website has now been completed and updated with the latest information: https://alpshop2026.rs/

We would like to briefly share the most important points with you.

Due to the high occupancy of the venue at Fruška Gora, we have slightly adjusted the schedule, and the conference will begin on 16 September.

We have finalized the registration fees: https://alpshop.rgf.bg.ac.rs/?page_id=2806

The regular registration fee is comparable to that of the meeting held in Ljubljana four years ago, although it is slightly higher than in Siena 2024. This reflects the generally higher prices in Vrdnik (Fruška Gora), which is a spa resort; however, we were able to secure favorable conditions of accommodations for our participants: https://alpshop.rgf.bg.ac.rs/?page_id=2785

We are pleased that we will be able to provide financial support for a significant number of MSc and PhD students, as well as young postdoctoral researchers. Applicants will be asked to submit a short application (they will be discussed by our scientific committee) using the form available on the conference website: https://alpshop.rgf.bg.ac.rs/?page_id=2806
