In this inaugural presentation of the Geoethics Aotearoa New Zealand Seminar Series, Associate Professor Dan Hikuroa will recount his inspirational journey from a conventional training in geoscience to a career in which he weaves Indigenous knowledge and science to spearhead alternative ways of undertaking development and assessing sustainability. Dan will describe formative periods in his journey, and highlight vital lessons for geoscientists wishing to engage successfully with Indigenous communities.
