EGU 2026 – Seismotectonics & Active Tectonics: Innovation Meets Tradition!

Join Session TS3.1 (Vienna, 3–8 May 2026) "Studying Active Faults from the Near-Surface to Seismogenic Depth: Advances and Open Questions in Seismotectonics and Active Tectonic Processes" - Link: https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU26/session/56139

We welcome contributions covering fieldwork, seismology, geophysics, geodesy, modelling, data-driven research, and studies of recent and historical earthquakes, including applications of AI and other cutting-edge tools. We also aim to discuss how these innovations are reshaping our understanding of active faults, while field observations and traditional approaches remain cornerstones of tectonic and earthquake studies.

Abstract deadline: 15 Jan 2026 | Financial support: 1 Dec 2025

PhD students & Early Career Scientists encouraged!

See you in Vienna
